Bible Clubs Offered in Two Seattle Elementary Schools
Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we rejoice for the work of Child Evangelism Fellowship, who now legally offers after school Bible clubs called the Good News Clubs, in two Seattle public elementary schools, despite complaints by easily offended atheist groups. We remember Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, Even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” God bless each child who attends Bible study, and their parents who allow them to go. God increase their numbers, and open more doors for them, in Jesus Name, Amen.
The Evening Prayer Weekly National News Alert
We don't just report the news, we pray the scriptures, in Jesus' name.
Ben Nelson compromises on abortion and “health” care
Let us pray. Almighty God, we express disappointment in Senator Ben Nelson of Nebraska (D-NE), who claims to be pro-life, and promised to “draw a line in the sand,” but now has broken his promise, and compromised with pro-abortion Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA), to allow federal funding and our tax-dollars to subsidize elective abortions, so long as the individual choosing to kill their child writes a separate monthly check to co-pay for that coverage. God help all 50 states opt out, from Proverbs 6:17, God hates a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, in Jesus name, Amen.
Bill Would Give Okay to Chaplain’s Prayer
Let Us Pray. Almighty God, we pray for Virginia Delegate Bill Carrico, (R-Grayson), who is reintroducing a bill to prohibit the state police chief from censoring the content of chaplains’ prayers at public events, after State Police Col. Steven Flaherty told police chaplains that they could no longer pray “denominational” prayers, and banned speech invoking Jesus’ name, forcing six chaplains to resign in protest. We pray Proverbs 11:10 that when the righteous prosper, the city rejoices. God lead Governor Bob McDonnell to reinstate those police chaplains by executive order, and their right to pray, in Jesus Name, Amen.
Washington DC City Council legalizes gay “marriage”
Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray You allow a popular vote to overturn the decision of the Washington DC city council, who just legalized homosexual marriage, against the will of the people. The cowardly U.S. Congress will likely let that bill become law without taking action, but we pray that courageous churches will rise up in referendum against it. in Jesus name, Amen.
Maine Today reporter fired for responding to homosexual’s email attacks
Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray you bless Larry Grard, a reporter for 19 years at the Maine Today newspaper, who was fired from his journalist job for righteousness sake, because he replied to an email sent by a homosexual activist who criticized his pro-marriage reporting. God bless the citizens of Maine who rose up to vote against gay “marriage” last month, and reward them even if they are criticized or penalized, from Matthew 5:10, Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven, in Jesus name, Amen.
Atheist Legislator will violate North Carolina Constitution
Let us pray. Almighty God, we pray You uphold the North Carolina Constitution and unseat the newly elected Asheville City Councilman Cecil Bothwell, a self-proclaimed atheist, who fails to meet the qualifications for public office-holders, because he does not believe in God. God give victory to those planning to sue the city to enforce North Carolina’s Constitution, and God enforce Your law, even if we fail to enforce ours, from Isaiah 55:9, as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God’s ways higher than our ways, and God’s thoughts higher than our thoughts, in Jesus name, Amen. PREAMBLEMerry Christmas and Happy Birthday Jesus!Let us pray. Almighty God, we celebrate Your incarnation at the birth of Jesus, when God became a man and humbled Himself to share in our trials, temptations, and sufferings, but won the victory against sin by dying on the cross to pay the atoning sacrifice, so we could be forgiven. We pray from Isaiah 9:6, unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace, in Jesus name, Amen.
We, the people of the State of North Carolina, grateful to Almighty God, the Sovereign Ruler of Nations, for the preservation of the American Union and the existence of our civil, political and religious liberties, and acknowledging our dependence upon Him for the continuance of those blessings to us and our posterity, do, for the more certain security thereof and for the better government of this State, ordain and establish this Constitution.

British couple cleared of anti-Muslim “speech crime”
Let us pray. Almighty God, we praise your for answering our prayer from 30 Sep 09, and exonerating Ben and Sharon Vogelenzang, Christian hotel owners in Britain, who faced criminal prosecution for “religiously aggravated” public disorder and £5,000 fine, because they defended the Christian faith and criticized Islam in a verbal debate with a muslim guest in their own hotel. The muslim complained to police of being offended by the gospel, and they couple lost 80% of their customers. From Psalm 35:23, God awake and arise to their defense, contend for them, and give them full victory, in Jesus Name, Amen.
